The DreamTeams Summit

The Peakon team gives a presentation at Dream Games

This summer, we brought together over 50 founders and CEOs from across Europe for our first summit on people leadership, DreamTeams, with the aim of creating a forum for open and frank discussion about the tough challenges and hard-earned lessons in leading teams. Read Kiana's wrap up here

The Quantum Summit

In October, we welcomed some of the world's most prominent quantum experts to Balderton HQ for a half-day of discussion and dinner. Read Colin's wrap up here

And Other Events Across Europe

We also hosted a series of founder-focused events both at HQ and across Europe, dealing with issues such as internationalisation, engaging with China, scaling your brand, the pressures of family and startup life and more.

New Team Members in 2019

We welcomed 11 new team members this year across all functions. On the investment team, we added Georgia Forbes and Francesco Corea. Jennifer Andre joined the marketing team, Toby Kelly joined the IR team, Jo Rooney joined finance and Luzana Costa joined as our Platform Manager. 

In addition, we welcomed Nathalie Cazals, Stephanie Tyrrell, Miki Simpson and Annatt Bass to the executive support team and Rachel Scurlock joined as our new Office Coordinator.
